During the Dubai Air Show, Safran. AI, a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense and a leader in artificial intelligence for defense and space applications, and the Technology Innovation Institute (TII) have announced their intent to form a strategic alliance to develop the next-generation field-ready Agentic AI geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) platform.
By combining Safran.AI’s field-proven GEOINT expertise with TII’s expertise in Agentic AI and orchestration platforms, this alliance is expected to deliver an autonomous reasoning system capable of transforming high-resolution spaceborne imagery into decision-grade intelligence and recommended courses of action. Moving beyond traditional object detection, the platform will combine a human-in-the-loop approach with genuine geospatial reasoning, enabling defense operators to understand, predict, and act with unprecedented speed and precision.
The alliance’s first milestone is marked by the signing today of a collaboration agreement, to enable the commencement of the alliance.

Sébastien Fabre, CEO of Safran.AI, stated: “Over the past 30 years, Safran Electronics & Defense and the United Arab Emirates have built a relationship founded on trust and shared ambition. Through our alliance, we are committed to providing advanced solutions that support the needs of the intelligence community and strengthen national security and decision-making in the field.”
Dr. Najwa Aaraj, CEO of the Technology Innovation Institute, added: “This alliance represents a defining step toward sovereign geospatial intelligence. By integrating our Agentic AI orchestration technologies with Safran.AI’s operational GEOINT expertise, we are advancing from analysis to autonomous understanding, where systems can reason, anticipate, and act. Together, we are building the foundations of decision intelligence that will strengthen national resilience and redefine how nations secure and interpret their operational environment.”
As part of this alliance, Safran.AI and TII will form a unified team from day one, with members co-located in both the France and the UAE. Together, they will operate under a shared banner that reflects the agility and responsiveness of an operational command center, where innovation meets mission readiness.
