NCI Awarded $211 M Contract to Support US Army

NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ:NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today it was awarded a five-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract valued at $211 million to provide agile acquisition, systems engineering and logistics services for the U.S. Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier headquarters and subordinate PEO programs at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. This competitively awarded procurement continues NCI’s legacy logistics and fielding services to the PEO, with an expansion to now include systems engineering and technical assistance services. The contract consists of a 12-month base period with four one-year option periods.

NCI will continue to support PEO Soldier headquarters and its subordinate project management offices in their mission to rapidly outfit U.S. soldiers with the best products available. Expanded efforts also will include engineering, quality assurance, test, acquisition, business management, logistics and fielding, operations and administrative support. All phases of system lifecycle management are covered under the contract, including technology, engineering and manufacturing development; production and deployment; and operations and support for PEO Soldier assets in response to military requirements worldwide.

“We are extremely proud to continue our support of the U.S. Army’s PEO Soldier Program and expand our effort through this new contract,” said Brian J. Clark, NCI’s president and CEO. “Our team is uniquely qualified to provide cost-effective and agile services necessary to serve the PEO’s mission, as we have for more than 20 years. We look forward to continuing to bring our capability and experience to this imperative operation supporting today’s warfighter.”
