NCI Wins $43M Agile Development Task Order to Support USCIS

New EAGLE II task order will bring agile capability to DHS

NCI, Inc. (NASDAQ: NCIT), a leading provider of information technology (IT) and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies, announced today it was awarded a $43 million firm-fixed-price multiple award Flexible Agile Development Services (FADS) II task order by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), under the DHS EAGLE II contract. The award consists of a six-month base and two six-month option periods.

FADS II will provide a flexible agile capability to accomplish IT development projects across USCIS in support of a technologically innovative, state-of-the-art, electronic and customer-centric architecture. NCI will supply agile/DevOps teams to collaborate with other FADS II contractors using agile and lean processes, such as Scrum. NCI’s teams will participate with federal employees and other contractors using a scaled agile approach to deliver high-quality mission value. They also will innovate new ways to deliver cost-effective government IT services with greater frequency and responsiveness.

“As an original EAGLE II contract award holder, we are pleased to serve as a true technical partner and agile leader for USCIS,” commented Suzanne Liscouski, vice president for NCI. “Our technical staff and team are ready to apply the extensive knowledge gained from our long and diverse agile background. We look forward to raising the bar and better supporting the immigration experience from adjudicators to applicants alike.”
