PGZ, MESKO, and EURENCO Sign Strategic Agreements

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, PGZ S.A. and MESKO S.A. signed two strategic agreements with the French company EURENCO to acquire modular ammunition production technology and secure supplies of key raw materials necessary for their production.

The CEOs of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (Polish Armaments Group) Adam Leszkiewicz, EURENCO’s CEO Thierry Francou, and representatives of the MESKO S.A. management board signed an agreement enabling the establishment of a joint venture company to produce modular ammunition in Poland. The production capacity to be established through the initiative will meet the production needs of Factory No. 1 and Factory No. 2, which are part of PGZ’s ammunition cluster model of three 155 mm factories. It is anticipated that at least 600,000 modular ammunition units will be produced annually in Poland, with the possibility of acquiring additional ammunition from a foreign partner as needed.

"The cooperation between PGZ, MESKO, and EURENCO is an example of industrial partnership that truly strengthens the defense capabilities of Poland and Europe. Establishing the joint venture aligns with our concept of building three 155mm ammunition factories, allowing for production diversification and maximizing the expertise of individual plants. It is the first step towards building one of these factories for the production of multi-base powder" – said Adam Leszkiewicz, President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa.

"The creation of these joint ventures in Poland is a cornerstone of EURENCO current growth. During the last years, we have demonstrated our ability to act swiftly in setting up new production capacities, thereby contributing to the resilience of the industrial supply chain and ensuring the security of supply for our customers. By producing Artillery Modular Charges in Poland, with the highest standards of safety and performance, EURENCO contributes to the Poland Autonomy Strategy and fully connected with its mission as a key player in Defense in the service of the sovereignty" – said Thierry Francou, CEO of EURENCO.

The second strategic document signed during the ceremony was a letter of intent to secure the supply of key raw materials necessary for the production of modular ammunition. Combined with previous agreements between PGZ and foreign partners, this ultimately gives the Polish side sovereignty over the production of complete 155 mm ammunition.

"This is a step not only towards greater autonomy for our arms industry, but also an expression of responsibility to the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and our NATO allies. We are consistently developing our technological and manufacturing competences, becoming an increasingly important link in the European security system. EURENCO was selected after a lengthy process of selecting a technological partner for the production of gunpowder and modular charges" – added Adam Leszkiewicz.
