GDMS to Provide Mobile Security Toolkit Shipsets for U.S. Navy Submarines and Aircraft Carriers

General Dynamics Mission Systems announced today that it was awarded a $15,331,729 cost-plus-incentive fee, cost-plus-fixed fee, and cost only contract from the U.S. Navy for security toolkit shipset production, engineering, and installation support. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value to $91,140,416.

Work will be performed in Manassas, Virginia; Groton, Connecticut; Las Vegas, Nevada; Port Orchard, Washington; Chesapeake, Virginia; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; San Diego, California; and Kings Bay, Georgia, and is expected to be completed by August 2026. If all options are exercised, work will continue through August 2030.

Under this contract, Progeny Systems, a General Dynamics Mission Systems business area, will deliver security toolkit shipsets that provide untethered wireless movement, enhancing all aspects of daily operations with capability for communications, training, qualification, and maintenance enabled through integration with submarine and aircraft carrier shipboard networks.
