Aechelon Technology Receives Multiple Hardware and Database Contracts to Support Dozens of Devices for the USN and RAAF P-8 Poseidon

Aechelon Technology, Inc., has been awarded multiple contracts in support of the US Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) P-8A Poseidon Training Systems for the United States Navy (USN) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).

The contracts are for Aechelon Technology to provide several Aechelon Nexus™ and dozens of Aechelon Nucleus Image Generators for Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs), Weapons Tactics Trainers (WTTs), and Part Task Trainer (PTT) devices.  Additionally, delivery will also include Aechelon’s high fidelity Commercial Next Generation Global Database that allows the USN and RAAF P-8 training devices to perform immediate and advanced training.  This technology will be used on P-8 training devices in multiple locations in the United States and in Australia.

Aechelon Technology will supply its state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus™, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Professional® with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Technology Nucleus™ Image Generator integrates a full-resolution, high-fidelity 3D visual and sensor Commercial Global database that is fully parity with Aechelon’s DoD worldwide database and has the architecture for rapid updates and cloud-based access to incremental releases. Aechelon Nexus™ are site-level datacenter-scale, multi-level security-capable unified administration, and high-speed storage systems.

Aechelon Technology is already providing multi-spectral image generators and global databases for USN, the British Royal Airforce, New Zealand, the Republic of South Korea, and other foreign P-8 Training systems partners.
