Universal Avionics (UA) today announced that Eirtech Aviation Services, a leading aircraft modification provider, has selected UA’s cutting-edge data link solution for its Airbus A320 fleet upgrade program. The upgrade features Universal's UniLink™ Communications Management Unit (CMU), which enables air-to-ground digital communications between pilots and Air Traffic Control (ATC), as well as Airline Operational Control (AOC) through its database of Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) messages.
