Otokar Aims to Grow With Technology Transfer and Local Manufacturing Opportunities in Latin America

Otokar, Turkey’s global land systems manufacturer participates in Expodefensa 2023, the headline Latin American defense and security exhibition, between December 05-07, in Bogota, Colombia. During the three-day exhibition, Otokar will showcase its own design and production of armored military vehicles family along with its turret systems. Visitors will also be informed about Otokar’s distinctive capabilities in land systems such as expertise in technology transfer and local manufacturing.

Highlighting that Otokar is a listed NATO and United Nations supplier, General Manager Serdar Görgüç, said, “Today, nearly 33 thousand Otokar military vehicles are actively in service in more than 40 countries and nearly 60 end users in different climates and geographies around the world. Penetrating Latin American market is one of our top priorities. Therefore, Expodefensa is exceptionally important for Otokar in order to meet our current and potential customers and develop further and deeper relationships. Expodefensa is also an important event for establishing industrial cooperation opportunities in order to create local added value operations in the entire region where Otokar has a well-established and proven track record.”
