Peraton Secures $23 M NAVAIR Contract

Award extends 30-year legacy providing science and engineering expertise

Peraton has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide propulsion and engineering systems support to the Naval Air System Command’s (NAVAIR) Propulsion and Power Engineering Department. The contract has a total ceiling of $23.5 million for one base year, plus four option years.

“Peraton offers a deep understanding of the dynamic naval aviation environment, and the technical skill and agility essential to advance the Navy’s mission,” said Gus Bontzos, president, Defense and EW sector at Peraton. “And we are committed partners in supporting next-generation warfighter readiness.”

Peraton will continue to provide improvements for propulsion systems and power engineering to advance safety, reliability, and system performance. Peraton’s engineers and scientists will also support research, systems engineering and integration, and evaluation for naval aviation propulsion and power systems.
