Collins Aerospace, an RTX (NYSE: RTX) business, and Emirates, the world’s largest international airline as measured in revenue passenger kilometers, have expanded their comprehensive long-term agreement for maintenance, repair and overhaul services on the main landing gears for Emirates’ A380 fleet. The amendment includes the introduction of an enhanced support program to support landing gear overhauls, increasing overhaul service availability for seamless A380 operations.
As part of the agreement, Collins Aerospace will continue to make use of its UAE and Miami MRO centers to complete scheduled overhaul work and will provide training for Emirates’ maintenance personnel to conduct on-site work at the Emirates Engineering facility in Dubai.
"Collins Aerospace is committed to delivering value-added support to our customers. With this MRO extension, we’re empowering Emirates with greater autonomy and scheduling flexibility, enabling them to exceed operational demands and enhance aircraft availability,” said Matt Maurer, vice president and general manager of Landing Systems at Collins Aerospace.
