The Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), the global leader in helicopter leasing, today announced that it has signed a framework agreement with Safran Helicopter Engines, the world’s leading manufacturer of helicopter engines.
The agreement aims to simplify the transition of Safran-powered aircraft between lessees and ensure Milestone has access to best-in-class asset management services. As part of the agreement, Milestone will continue to promote Safran’s Support-by-the-Hour program to its lessees, which protects residual value, controls engine maintenance costs, eliminates cash peaks and offers a wide variety of technical expertise options.
Speaking at European Rotors 2024, Pat Sheedy, the Chief Executive Officer of Milestone Aviation, said, “For more than a decade, Milestone and Safran Helicopter Engines have worked closely and this agreement further strengthens the partnership between our two companies. We look forward to building on this relationship, made possible through this first-of-its-kind agreement.”
