Integris Composites joins American Rheinmetall as an armor partner for the U.S. Army's $45B XM30 Combat Vehicle program, showcasing innovation at AUSA 2025.

Integris Composites has been selected as an armor partner for American Rheinmetall in the U.S. Army’s XM30 Combat Vehicle program, a $45 billion effort to modernize the Army’s armored forces. The partnership positions Integris at the forefront of next-generation survivability and protection technologies.

The announcement comes as the company highlights its advanced composite armor solutions and proprietary Accelerated Innovation approach at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition, taking place Oct. 13–15, 2025, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Visitors can find Integris in Hall B, Booth 2717.

As the successor to the M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle, the XM30 will serve as a central component of the Army’s Armored Brigade Combat Teams for decades to come. American Rheinmetall is one of two prime contractors selected to design, develop, and build the platform.

Accelerated Innovation: Engineering Speed and Precision
During AUSA, Integris is showcasing not only its composite armor technologies but also its Accelerated Innovation model — a proprietary framework that combines decades of ballistic data, advanced modeling and simulation, and rapid prototyping.

“Accelerated Innovation allows us to develop targeted armor solutions much faster than traditional methods,” said David Cordova, Chief Commercial Officer. “It draws on more than 30 years of expertise and thousands of tested material combinations to deliver optimized protection systems.”

Bonham added that the XM30’s modular open-systems architecture aligns perfectly with Integris’s design philosophy, enabling scalable and adaptable armor configurations.

Proven Success Across Global Defense Programs
Integris Composites holds Tier One supplier status with leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and defense primes around the world. The company’s armor systems are deployed across multiple high-profile platforms, including:

  • Royal Navy Type 45 Destroyer – ballistic protection systems with BAE Systems
  • U.S. Army Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) – armor systems with Bell Textron
  • Boeing MH-139 Grey Wolf – armor for the U.S. Air Force helicopter program
  • C-130J transport aircraft – armor solutions through QinetiQ partnership
  • CV90 combat vehicle – protection systems for NATO infantry fighting vehicles

Strengthening the U.S. Industrial Base
The XM30 initiative underscores the Army’s focus on domestic manufacturing and innovation. Integris operates major U.S. facilities including a technical design and engineering center in Hebron, Ohio, a vehicle design center in Goleta, California, and its global headquarters in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
