Oshkosh Defense Exhibits its Expanded Portfolio at AUSA 2021

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) company, will display its 2-door Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) and trailer with SPIKE NLOS (Non-Line-Of-Sight) system and the Stryker Medium Caliber Weapon System (MCWS) at AUSA 2021. The vehicles will be part of Oshkosh Defense’s exhibit at AUSA 2021 (Booth #1539) in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC from October 11-13, 2021.

A globally recognized leader in the design and production of military vehicle systems, Oshkosh Defense enters AUSA 2021 with several recent contract awards highlighting its leadership in the

tactical wheeled vehicle market and the company’s expansion into adjacencies, including combat vehicles.

A snapshot of recent milestones include:  

• The Oshkosh JLTV – International momentum surrounding the Oshkosh JLTV, which provides unprecedented levels of off-road mobility, survivability, and integrated firepower on a light tactical vehicle platform, continues with orders or commitments from eight NATO, Allied and Coalition partners including Belgium, Montenegro, Slovenia, Lithuania, Brazil, Romania, North Macedonia and United Kingdom. Oshkosh Defense and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems also recently completed a successful live firing of Rafael’s SPIKE NLOS missile from an Oshkosh JLTV. In addition, Oshkosh Defense demonstrated the JLTV-based Remotely Operated Ground Unit for Expeditionary (ROGUE) Fires as part of the U.S. Navy’s large-scale exercise in which the vehicle launched a Naval Strike Missile and scored a direct hit on a target at sea. To date, Oshkosh has built more than 13,500 JLTVs, and they’ve been fielded to over 40 locations around the globe.
• The Stryker Medium Caliber Weapon System (MCWS) – In June 2021, the U.S. Army selected the Oshkosh Defense team, which includes Pratt Miller Defense and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems to integrate the 30 mm MCWS onto the Stryker Double V Hull Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICVVA1). This upgrade will provide increased lethality, accuracy and range while maintaining the mobility and survivability of the Stryker ICVVA1.  
• Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) – In July 2021, the U.S. Army selected the Oshkosh Defense consortium which includes Pratt Miller Defense, Hanwha Defense USA, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, QinetiQ Inc., and Plasan to participate in the Concept Design Phase for the OMFV program. This vehicle will replace the Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), which has been in service since 1981, and bring transformational multi-domain operations to the fleet.
• Cold Weather All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) – In April 2021, the National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) selected Oshkosh Defense and partner, ST Engineering, to participate in the prototype phase for the U.S. Army’s CATV. This new program is for a tracked vehicle that operates in extreme cold weather or arctic conditions which will replace the Small Unit Support Vehicles (SUSVs) that have been in service since the early 1980s.
