Naval Research Laboratory Contract

DCS was awarded an Enhanced Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sensor and System Capability Development contract on 16 November 2016. This single award contract has a 5-year period of performance to provide support to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.

Under this contract, DCS will conduct research that will ultimately provide a capability to reduce intelligence analyst workloads, enhance operator efficiency through reduced detection times, and enhance the capability to detect and track small high-value targets in cluttered environments. The detection and tracking of targets of interest will be accomplished by combining soft biometrics data with human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning.

DCS is a strong advocate of designing and building "tomorrow's DoD capabilities within today's budget." In this regard, the Naval Research Lab will benefit from DCS's 25 plus years of managing successful research and development efforts with engineers and scientists who are actively engaged in advanced sensors, exploitation research and naval requirements analysis.
