Ethiopian Airlines Selects Cassiopee Alpha from Safran for Fleet-wide Flight Data Monitoring

Safran Electronics & Defense is proud to announce that Ethiopian Airlines has selected Cassiopée Alpha, its advanced flight data analysis platform, to optimize and secure operations across the airline’s entire fleet of 147 aircraft, including Airbus A350, Boeing 787, and Boeing 737 MAX models.

Cassiopée Alpha is an advanced flight data analysis platform, delivered as a convenient online service. It helps airlines enhance flight safety by clearly identifying and understanding flight events, ensuring compliance with international safety standards, and improving operational efficiency. Trusted by over 150 airlines worldwide, Cassiopée Alpha delivers automated, online analysis and visualization of flight data, enabling operators to identify flight events quickly, ensure compliance with the highest international safety standards, and boost operational efficiency.

In response to the evolving requirements of modern flight operations, Ethiopian Airlines has also chosen two advanced modules from this platform—Pilot in the Loop and Green—to further enhance its performance.
The Pilot in the Loop module will enable crews to conduct self-debriefings using intuitive visualization and analysis tools, fostering a deeper understanding of flight events and facilitating valuable feedback. Flight safety and data analysis teams will also benefit from the collection of contextualized information, strengthening risk prevention strategies.
