BAA Training Vietnam Has Launched a New in the Market ATPL Integrated with Type Rating Program

BAA Training Vietnam, a cutting-edge aviation training centre in Ho Chi Minh City, and a part of Avia Solutions Group, leaders in end-to-end capacity solutions for passenger and cargo airlines, has launched a first in the market EASA ATPL Integrated with Type Rating program to be held in both Europe and Vietnam.

Vytautas Jankauskas, Managing Director of BAA Training Vietnam, says: “BAA Training Vietnam, best-known for its simulator training and Type Rating courses, is now upscaling its services portfolio by adding initial pilot training. The insights from our close partners and aviation market leaders – VietJetAir, Vietravel, Pacific Airlines , Bamboo Airways and others – strongly indicate a need for fully airline-ready Type Rated First Officers. The value-added services we ensure by merging our top-notch European and Vietnamese experience and know-how allow us to guarantee a high level of pilot training and preparation of the best pilots ready to join a fast-paced airline environment.”

This unique training course provides students with a convenient pathway from zero aviation experience to becoming airline-ready Type Rated First Officers while being led by an international team of experienced training instructors. The program’s primary benefit lies in how it is structured, with Ab Initio part based in Europe – Lithuania or Spain – and Type Rating – in Vietnam or Europe, depending on the aircraft type in question. It enables future pilots to acquire top-level professional aviation competencies while gaining multicultural experience, familiarizing themselves with European training traditions and raising their competitiveness in the Asian market.
