BAA Training Entered Partnership with Turkish Low-cost Carrier Pegasus Airlines

BAA Training, one of Europe’s top 3 largest independent aviation training centers, and Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish low-cost carrier, have recently signed a partnership agreement dedicated to delivering A320 Type Rating services for the airline’s pilots.

Marijus Ravoitis says: ‘We are proud to cooperate with such a well-known and big market player as Pegasus Airlines, fulfilling its pilot training goals at the highest standards. Being chosen by Pegasus as a training provider is a sign of recognition for us as the airline owns its own approved training organization, just like BAA Training, and is at the forefront of the field.’

The first group of pilot students started training in February this year, and the second group is set to begin in May. Considering Pegasus Airlines’ fleet expansion while transitioning into an all-Airbus fleet, the plan is to launch two more groups of pilots before the end of the year. The students will be trained at BAA Training’s facilities in Vilnius and Barcelona, equipped with top-notch A320 full flight simulators.
