Patria Continues to Train Air Astana's Future Pilots

Patria and the Kazakh airline Air Astana have renewed their agreement for training of new pilots. The agreement is a continuation to previous training agreement signed in 2018. Patria continued training of cadets throughout the whole COVID-19 pandemic.

Patria will train Air Astana´s cadets at its bases in Pirkkala, Finland and in Cordoba, Spain. Training is conducted as an integrated ATP and later, pending on Kazakhstan´s aviation authority´s approval, as Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) training. Training will take 18 months and new courses will begin under this agreement until the end of 2023.

“The renewed training agreement with Air Astana is an indication of Patria’s high-quality pilot training, and a great milestone in Patria´s international pilot training operations”, says Jyrki Myyryläinen, Managing Director of Patria Pilot Training.
