OSI Systems Receives $13M in Orders for Airport Screening Products

OSI Systems, Inc. (the "Company" or "OSI Systems") (NASDAQ: OSIS) today announced that its Security division received orders from its Scandinavian distributor for approximately $13 million to provide various screening technologies.

The Company will provide 920CT checkpoint baggage scanners, Orion® baggage scanners and Metor® 900M walk-through metal detectors, along with integration software, for two major Scandinavian airport operators.

OSI Systems’ Chairman and CEO, Deepak Chopra, commented, "We are proud to work closely with our distributor on these awards. Our products are expected to be deployed at two airports and used for screening of outbound passengers, carry-on baggage, hold baggage and air cargo.”
