Aerostream Amplifiers Provide Certified RF Capability on Commercial Aviation Aircrafts

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions, and services, today announced that it received a multi-million dollar order from a leading In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) Integrator for Gilat Wavestream’s AeroStream Ka-band Wideband amplifiers to support the deployment of connectivity solutions on commercial aviation aircraft.  Deliveries are expected over the next 24 months.

Gilat Wavestream’s AeroStream Ka Transceiver is designed for IFC systems for commercial use. This equipment is already certified for most commercial and business aircrafts and will enable streamlined integration and accelerated fleet deployment while maintaining consistent performance.
