Safran Signs 2 Maintenance Contracts With Emirates Airline for A380 Electrical Equipment

Safran Electrical & Power and Safran Ventilation Systems have signed two contracts with Emirates Airline for maintaining the electrical power generation and ventilation system equipment onboard its Airbus A380 fleet.

The Long Term Agreement covers Emirates’ Airbus A380 fleet. Safran Electrical & Power will maintain variable frequency electrical generators, Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) electrical generators and associated control units, while Safran Ventilation Systems will maintain fans and valves of the ventilation system.

These agreements will provide Emirates with direct repair services from the original manufacturers to support aftermarket repair services of the airline’s A380 fleet.
