De Havilland Canada Announces Sale of Dash 8-400 Aircraft to Skyward Express

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) announced today that Skyward Express has signed an agreement to purchase a refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft.

As part of the commitment by De Havilland Canada to “keep the fleet flying,” DHC has initiated the process to purchase, refurbish, and re-market Dash 8-400 aircraft in a program to develop and maintain the Dash 8 family of aircraft in response to customer demand. The aircraft that will be acquired by Skyward Express is part of this program and will be reconfigured to support their fleet growth plans.

“We are thrilled that Skyward Express is continuing to build their fleet of Dash 8-400s with the addition of an aircraft from our newly announced DHC OEM Certified Refurbishment Program,” said Ryan DeBrusk, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for De Havilland Canada. “The Dash 8 is a prominent aircraft in Kenya, and we are proud to be working with Skyward Express, a premier operator in the region.”

De Havilland Canada’s OEM Certified Refurbishment Program was officially announced at the Farnborough International Airshow earlier today. The program supports operators, like Skyward Express, grow their fleet with reliable, economical and high-performance Dash 8 aircraft.
