The Milestone Aviation Group Limited (“Milestone”), the global leader in helicopter leasing, today announced that it has signed a lease agreement with Brazilian offshore operator, Líder Aviação (“Líder”), for a Sikorsky S-92 helicopter.
The S-92 helicopter is configured for offshore passenger transport and will support Líder’s operations for Brazil’s national oil company, Petrobras. The aircraft is scheduled to deliver in the coming months and will be deployed on long-range missions to ‘pre-salt’ oil regions across Brazil. This is the second aircraft to go on lease to Líder from Milestone, as they currently operate a Leonardo AW139 helicopter.
