Avianca Renews Contract With Iberia Maintenance
Iberia Maintenance and Avianca have signed an agreement whereby for the next 61 months Iberia will maintain LRU (line replacement unit) parts of the CFM56-5B engines powering the Colombian airline's Airbus A318s and A319s. LRUs are easily-replaced modular units.

Iberia Wins British Airways Engine Maintenance Contract
Iberia has won a contract for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the CFM56-5B engines, which power the British Airways' Airbus A318 aircraft used on the London City - New York JFK service. The contract is for a seven-year period.
