Geocent Wins Share of $249 M US Navy C4ISR Shore Platform Contract

Geocent, LLC, a premier engineering, technology, and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) provider, has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific as one of nine awardees for an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality (IDIQ) multiple aware contract in support of the C4ISR Integration and Engineering contract.

Geocent will compete to perform the installation of integrated C4ISR and supporting systems primarily at the U.S. Navy’s San Diego installation. The work will be performed at shore-based facilities, and on towers, piers, and platforms, as well as mobile systems. Some work will also extend to various locations across the contiguous United States and abroad.

The contract has a ceiling value of $249 million over a two-year base and six-year option period.

This award only strengthens Geocent’s standing within the Navy’s NIWC Pacific operation. Currently, Geocent provides crucial systems engineering support, including installation, integration, and sustainment for all new systems. This work expands with the new contract, with added responsibilities to be announced at a later date.

“Winning the C4ISR provides Geocent with a pillar contract in NIWC PAC,” said Ridge Bourgeois, Senior Vice President of Mission Solutions & Services at Geocent. “It presents a great opportunity to continue supporting NIWC PAC and its expanding needs.”
