Comtec Receives $1.3 M Contract for Military Communications Amplifiers

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today that during the second quarter of fiscal 2020, its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., which is part of Comtech's Commercial Solutions segment, received a $1.3 million follow-on order from a domestic integrator for Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers (“TWTAs”) for a U.S. Government Satellite Communications application.

The Ka-band TWTAs ordered for this challenging Army application are part of Comtech Xicom Technology's industry-leading high efficiency TWTA product line and will be delivered in 2020.

The amplifiers enable worldwide satellite communications for Army personnel and are designed for difficult environmental conditions in ground-mobile applications.”
