Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NASDAQ: CMTL) announced today, that during its first quarter of fiscal 2020, its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., which is part of Comtech’s Government Solutions segment, received multiple contract awards totaling $1.6 million for high-power amplifier modules to support the U.S. military.
These high frequency amplifier modules, which utilize the latest in solid-state GaN transistor technology, provide for very broad frequency coverage and will be utilized as part of an electronic warfare system.
In commenting on this contract award, Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp said, “This initial production award clearly demonstrates our continued leadership position in providing electronic warfare transmitter technology and the ongoing demand for our high-power broadband amplifiers that are utilized by major electronic warfare programs in both domestic and international markets.”
