Mercury Receives $9.0M RF Microelectronics Order for Advanced Airborne EW Application

Mercury Systems, Inc. announced it received a $9.0 million follow-on order from a leading defense prime contractor for precision-engineered radio frequency (RF) subsystems integrated into an advanced airborne electronic warfare program. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2019 third quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

Mercury’s broad portfolio of SWaP-optimized RF and microwave solutions include high-power GaN amplifiers, filters, integrated multifunction assemblies and custom-engineered subsystems. The Company’s highly skilled engineering team has developed advanced design and simulation tools enabling rapid prototyping of new designs with a seamless transition to volume production. Mercury’s three Advanced Microelectronics Centers (AMC) utilize highly automated manufacturing processes to deliver affordable and scalable production over the entire lifecycle of a program. These AMC facilities are uniquely designed to provide an assured supply of authentic, high-reliability microelectronics for military programs spanning the land, air, sea and space domains.

“As a forward-looking supplier of electronic warfare solutions optimized for size, weight, power and performance, we are honored to receive this prominent order from our valued customer,” said Kevin Beals, Vice President and General Manager of Mercury’s RF and Microwave group. “Our highly differentiated capabilities in affordable RF microelectronics design and production are second to none in the defense industry.”
