Comtech Awarded $5.9 M Additional Funding from US Army

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today, that during its first quarter of fiscal 2019, its Command & Control Technologies group, which is part of Comtech’s Government Solutions segment, received additional funding of $5.9 million to provide satellite communications and baseband equipment for elements of the United States Marine Corps and United States Army.

“Comtech is pleased to continue our partnership with the U.S. Armed Forces,” said Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp. “This latest contract modification continues to demonstrate Comtech’s commitment to our national security.”

The Command & Control Technologies group is a leading provider of mission-critical, highly-mobile C4ISR solutions.
