The Government of Canada has awarded Lumiant Corporation a $186,484 CAD contract, via the Department of National Defence’s IDEaS program, to discover & develop new Lightweight Ballistic Protection materials.
Historically, new materials discovery has largely been tedious, expensive and slow. Lumiant’s Xaedra™ AI Material Prediction Platform changes that by using a physics “first principles” approach that predicts material properties based on atomic information, not by “big data”. Additionally, Xaedra can predict not only 52,000 inorganic materials already discovered, but also predict millions – even billions – of hypothetical compounds that may be the best solution for a particular problem.
Applying the power of Xaedra’s machine learning neural-network, Lumiant will be able to discover new ballistic materials, never previously conceived, based on their desired ballistic properties.
By Aircraft Type (Commercial Aircrafts, Regional Jets, Business Jets, Military Aircrafts), By Ducting Type (Rigid, Semi-Rigid, Flexible), By Material (Stainless Steel & Alloys, Titanium & Titanium Alloys, Composites), By Region, Competition, 2019-2029F
