NGC Awarded 10-Year IT Contract from Social Security Administration

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has won a 10-year re-compete of Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) for the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) lifecycle activities for software improvement, database and data administration, software engineering and management support and systems administration and security. Northrop Grumman was one of three awardees on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.

“Our team has an invaluable understanding of the SSA environment and challenges,” said Erik Buice, vice president, health services, Northrop Grumman. “We’ve already provided noteworthy support to the successful implementation of the SSA’s new data center, and we’ve shared multiple innovative ideas and solutions throughout the tenure of our partnership. We look forward to the continuation of our work and shared mission with the SSA.”

Under this contract, Northrop Grumman will support the SSA’s transformation initiatives and IT systems modernization efforts.
