Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EGL ) announced today the company won a $30 million contract to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Facility in its mission to modernize its systems engineering and aircraft launch and recovery equipment capabilities.
"Engility has partnered with NAVAIR for more than 20 years to provide mission-critical systems engineering capabilities," said Lynn Dugle , Engility CEO. "This win allows our subject matter experts to work alongside our customers to ensure mission readiness and deliver best practices in engineering, cyber, and software development."
Engility will assist the U.S. Navy in advancing existing products including launch, recovery, and visual landing aids and with the maintenance of aircraft aboard U.S. Navy ships and at Marine Corps airfields. The company's technical services will also include design engineering, software test, and circuit board diagnostics. Engility has previously worked with NAVAIR on programs related to systems engineering and Aircraft Structural Life Surveillance.
