Booz Allen Named Prime Awardee of $5 Bn IDIQ Cybersecurity and Information Systems Contract by DoD

As alliances within the Dark Web re-energize cyber threats on a global scale, the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Analysis Centers (IAC) Program Management Office (PMO) has named Booz Allen Hamilton a prime awardee of a five-year, $5 billion Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on cybersecurity and information systems support. The firm will use this vehicle to continue and develop its analytics, engineering and technical support services to the DOD and intelligence organizations, specifically for data management, modeling and simulation, security and software-related work.

“We are honored to be a central component of this program, which will serve as an invaluable boost to the federal government’s cybersecurity research and development efforts,” said Robin Portman, Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton. “Our team encompasses truly world-class cybersecurity analysis and management capabilities and looks forward to serving a lead role in improving the nation’s cyber defenses.”

Under this contract, Booz Allen will partner with the DoD IAC PMO and its clients to provide cybersecurity recommendations to academic, government and industry entities within the United States. The broad scope of work, as well as the emphasis on research and analysis, will encourage the development of countermeasures to current and emerging threats. Building on existing work with the DoD and other government clients, this engagement will further the Booz Allen’s efforts to help protect U.S. assets at home and abroad.
