CHSi Awarded $4.25 M Subcontract to Provide Medical Modeling and Simulation Training for DoD Program

Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (CHSi), one of the nation’s largest and most experienced workforce medical services providers, was recently awarded a five-year contract worth $4.25 million to provide medical modeling and simulation training. CHSi is a subcontractor to Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS). ECS leads the major U.S. Air Force program called Air Force Medical Modeling and Simulation Training (AFMMAST) program.

The purpose of the AFMMAST program is to develop and use advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve medical education and training for health care teams and patients for the purpose of improving health care outcomes.

Under the contract, CHSi will provide staff and consultation services as needed for up to 2,500 personnel on four different Air Force bases in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan.

“CHSi is honored to have been selected by ECS to partner on this endeavor because the AFMMAST mission—to use advanced technology to improve health care outcomes—aligns closely with our own company’s mission,” said CHSi President Gary G. Palmer.

“CHSi’s specialized expertise, dedication to serving its clients, and proven ability to execute, manage and deliver medical services in austere environments was instrumental in winning this particular contract,” said ECS Chief Operating Officer Larry Kayne.

CHSi brings 40 years of experience providing successful workforce health solutions to numerous clients, including many of the largest non-defense federal agencies. Clients have included the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and U.S. Department of State (DOS).
