Constellation West Awarded $8.4M Contract With IRS for Cybersecurity Services

Constellation West, a leading provider of mission-critical technology solutions for the U.S. government and one of the fastest-growing service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, small disadvantaged businesses in the country, announced today it was awarded an $8.4 million contract by the Internal Revenue Service for cybersecurity services required under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Under the contract, Constellation West will provide technical services to support security engineering and security assessment and authorization for the IRS’s ACA projects.

This support encompasses the development and design of security requirements, security architecture, interfaces and configurations for the IRS ACA initiatives. Key security tasks include defining security and communication standards and protocols, determining data protection and exchange standards, and assisting the IRS with ensuring IRS taxpayer data is protected.
