With our fleet of new technology aircraft positioned along the Norwegian coast, we are ready to deliver services to meet Statoil’s changing needs,” Mr. Roland said.
Statoil confirmed that it would exercise the options under an existing contract which started in 2009. The extension period runs from April 2016 for three years.
This contract follows announcements earlier in 2015 that Statoil was expanding its contract with CHC to include further search-and-rescue services from Sola Airport. This latest award extends the decades-long relationship between Statoil and CHC.
