Air China Introduces 2nd ARJ21 Aircraft

Air China received the 2nd ARJ21 aircraft in Shanghai on October 27th, 2020, which indicates the delivery of the 36th ARJ21 aircraft to customers by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC). The aircraft was introduced by means of financial leasing from CNAC Beijing Financial Leasing Company Limited.

At the delivery ceremony, Mr. Wei Yingbiao, Member of Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of COMAC, expressed that the growth of COMAC was inseparable from the strong support of airlines, and hoped that both sides would work hand in hand to jointly promote the development of the China-made civil aircraft. COMAC would insist on the principle of being customer centered, listen carefully to customers' opinions, and continually improve the products and service level.

Since receiving its first aircraft in June 2020, Air China has used ARJ21 aircraft to open the routes of Beijing-Xilinhot and Beijing-Baotou. With the joint efforts of Air China and COMAC, ARJ21 aircraft has achieved excellent operational performance.
