Rolls-Royce Welcomes Hi Fly As a New Trent 900 Operator

Rolls-Royce has welcomed Hi Fly as a new operator of Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines following the addition of an Airbus A380 to Hifly’s growing fleet.

Paulo Mirpuri, Hi Fly President and CEO, said: “We are excited by the positive reaction we have seen to us taking our first Airbus A380. We are very proud to be a Trent 900 operator and look forward to working closely with Rolls-Royce to ensure our aircraft is a truly valuable asset.”

Simon Goodson, Rolls-Royce, Senior Vice President – Customer Business, Civil Aerospace, said: “It is great to start this new phase in our long-term relationship with Hi Fly. We are committed to supporting aircraft transitions by ensuring our engines make it an even more attractive proposition.”

The Trent 900 is both the market leader and engine of choice for the A380, with more than 90 per cent of the firm aircraft backlog and having won 11 of 17 engine selections.
