The Cathay Group will equip its new fleets of 30 A330neo aircraft to be operated by Cathay Pacific and 18 A321neo/A320neo aircraft to be operated by HK Express with Thales’ market-leading avionics solutions. This includes Airbus’ new generation Flight Management System (FMS) which is based on Thales’ PureFlyt FMS, Thales’ 5G-Immune Low-Range Radio Altimeter (LRRA) and Head-Up Display (HUD), as well as the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (T3CAS) by ACSS. Cathay Pacific will also equip its A330neos with AVIATOR S, Thales’ cockpit satellite communications (SATCOM) system. This new agreement demonstrates Thales’ commitment to support the development of the Hong Kong-based group with advanced solutions and exceptional levels of service.
