Honeywell continues to invest in LED lighting technologies to enhance performance and reliability. Manufactured at Honeywell’s site in Urbana, Ohio, this new version is equipped with the latest component designs originally developed for the commercial aircraft sector, with modifications to meet the specified performance and installation requirements of the MV-75 FLRAA application. This LSL offers growth capabilities for future MV-75 variants, including a laser pro tracker to integrate with other potential EO/IR aircraft. Honeywell’s LSL has been developed from a family of products meeting the diverse needs of business jets and regional transport aircraft, light fighters, trainer aircraft and helicopters.
Earlier this year, Bell had selected Honeywell Attune™ and the Honeywell’s 36-150 auxiliary power unit (APU) for the MV-75 FLRAA program.
Honeywell Attune™ is a lightweight, low-maintenance and energy-efficient thermal management system that uses advanced technology to generate cold air or liquid to cool cabins and electronic components.
The 36-150 APU enhances mission readiness and flexibility of aircraft operations by providing a secondary source of electrical and hydraulic power.
