Fincantieri Delivers the PPA "Kri Prabu Siliwangi-321" to the Indonesian Navy

The vessel is the second of two multi-mission combat units destined for Indonesia

The delivery ceremony of the MPCS (Multipurpose Combat Ship/PPA) KRI PRABU SILIWANGI-321 vessel to the Indonesian Navy was held today at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Muggiano (La Spezia),

The ceremony was attended by Admiral Muhammad Ali, Chief of the Indonesian Navy, H.E. Prof. DR. Junimart Girsang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Italy, and Admiral Giuseppe Berutti Bergotto, Chief of the Italian Navy. Their presence underscored the strong defense collaboration between the two nations. Representing Fincantieri were CEO and Managing Director, Pierroberto Folgiero, and General Manager of the Naval Vessels Division Eugenio Santagata.

KRI PRABU SILIWANGI-321’s delivery follows that of its sister, KRI BRAWIJAYA-320, delivered last July, completing the supply of the two vessels built by Fincantieri that will form the Indonesian Navy's largest combat units, as well as the most technologically advanced units in the Indo-Pacific. The two PPAs represent a strategic element for the stability of the Asian region and the protection of Indonesian national interests, further consolidating the partnership between Fincantieri and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense.
