Rostec’s United Aircraft Corporation has manufactured and delivered new Su-35S to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation under the state defence procurement program. The multifunction aircraft systems are intended for the Russian Air Force.

“To achieve the targets set out by the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation concerning the provision of troops with ammunition and equipment, our special task fighter air group has received a new batch of the Su-35S multifunction fighters. The Su-35S fulfills all missions set out for us to the fullest extent and at the highest quality,” said a Su-35S pilot of the Russian Air Force.

The Su-35 is designed to gain air superiority, in particular in severe weather conditions and at long distances from the home airfield. It is a transition link to the fifth generation aircraft systems.
