Jorge Tamarit-Degenhardt, Chief Executive Officer of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH, has welcomed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the United Kingdom.
Yasar Güler, Turkish Minister of National Defence, and John Healey, UK Secretary of State for Defence, signed the MoU at the IDEF defence trade event in Istanbul earlier today. The MoU is the first step towards Türkiye’s potential purchase of the Eurofighter Typhoon jet.
Mr Tamarit-Degenhardt said:
