TEKEVER AR3 Powers New RAF Electronic Warfare Capability

As part of the UK’s StormShroud Programme, the TEKEVER AR3 is delivering agile, uncrewed capability to support next-generation electronic warfare operations.

Overview
As part of its ongoing commitment to UK defence innovation, TEKEVER is playing a key role in the UK Royal Air Force’s StormShroud programme — a next-generation electronic warfare initiative under the Autonomous Collaborative Platforms (ACP) Programme This pioneering effort aims to enhance the survivability and effectiveness of the RAF’s crewed combat aircraft by integrating uncrewed platforms equipped with advanced electronic capabilities.

At the centre of TEKEVER’s contribution is the AR3, a battle-proven, tactical uncrewed aerial system (UAS) capable of hosting mission-specific payloads in complex and contested environments.

Background
The UK’s Armed Forces are investing in new models of capability delivery, where uncrewed systems operate alongside crewed platforms to extend reach, gather intelligence, and deliver electronic effects without putting personnel directly in harm’s way.

The StormShroud drone is the first of its kind, offering a new tactical approach: by disrupting enemy radar at range, it enables aircraft such as the Eurofighter Typhoon and F-35 Lightning to operate undetected, increasing their lethality while enhancing pilot protection.

This step-change is enabled by a modular approach: TEKEVER delivers the airframe and systems integration via its AR3 platform, while a UK-developed payload — designed by Leonardo — provides the electronic warfare effect.

TEKEVER AR3: Proven Performance, Ready for Integration
The AR3 was selected for its operational maturity, compact footprint and long-endurance performance. It has logged over 10,000 flight hours in active theatres, including frontline support for Ukraine, where its design has undergone more than 100 iterative upgrades based on battlefield feedback.

Its modular open architecture enables rapid integration of third-party payloads, making it an ideal host platform for emerging mission profiles, such as those required by StormShroud.

Payload Integration: Partnering for Effect
In this deployment, the AR3 carries an electronic warfare payload developed by Leonardo. The system is designed to interfere with and degrade enemy radar capabilities, contributing to the overall effect of radar suppression and enabling tactical advantage in the air domain.

This integration reflects the UK’s broader strategy of combining domestic innovation with proven operational platforms to deliver capability quickly and effectively.

Strategic Impact
StormShroud is not only a technological advance — it is a strategic shift in how the RAF approaches air combat operations, embracing modularity, autonomy, and collaborative uncrewed systems. TEKEVER’s role highlights the value of mature, agile technology providers that can deliver capability at pace.

The programme also marks another milestone in TEKEVER’s expansion in the UK, where the company is deepening its industrial footprint and playing a growing role in national and European security.

Looking Ahead
As future threats evolve, so too must the tools and tactics used to counter them. TEKEVER remains committed to supporting the UK’s defence ambitions through scalable, autonomous systems designed for real-world impact.

StormShroud is one of many examples of how TEKEVER is enabling a more resilient and adaptive defence ecosystem — in the UK and across Europe.
