The sensor specialist/solution provider HENSOLDT is equipping further combat vehicles of the Czech Armed Forces with the TARANIS® ADLER command, control, coordination & communication system, integrating a new map service and training artillerymen.
HENSOLDT has been working closely with the Czech Armed Forces in the field of artillery since 2022: On behalf of the state-owned Military Technical Institute of the Czech Republic (Vojenský technický ústav, s.p.; VTU), HENSOLDT, with ESG as the contractual partner, is supplying the ‘Automated Fire Control System and Support, AFCS’. The previous contract comprised the delivery of a version of the TARANIS® ADLER command and weapon deployment system adapted to the customer's specific requirements and a current standard version for installation at the Czech Republic's Military University in Brno.
Under the terms of the signed contract extension, HENSOLDT has been commissioned to equip additional combat vehicle types and radar systems with the TARANIS® ADLER AFCS CZE, as well as to fully integrate all currently available sensors and the national command and control (C2) system BVIS.

Download free sample pages More informationIn addition, HENSOLDT will integrate a new map service into TARANIS® ADLER to enable maps from a common map server to be used by the C2 system and TARANIS® ADLER. HENSOLDT is also responsible for training the first soldiers of the Czech artillery force.
This additional contract will sustainably strengthen the excellent cooperation between HENSOLDT and the Czech Armed Forces in the areas of command, control, coordination & communication systems, system integration and training.
