Exail Selected by VTU to Equip Czech Armed Forces With Advans Inertial Navigation Systems

Exail, a global provider of navigation and positioning solutions, has been awarded a contract by Vojensky technicky ustav, s.p. (VTU), the military technical institute of the Czech Republic, to supply its Advans Series Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) for integration into artillery command and reconnaissance vehicles of the Czech Armed Forces.

Based on Fiber-Optic Gyroscope (FOG) technology, the Advans INS will equip these vehicles with precise navigation and pointing capabilities, ensuring dependable performance in GNSS-denied environments. With built-in resilience against spoofing and jamming threats, it guarantees uninterrupted operational capabilities, supporting critical command and reconnaissance tasks in all conditions.

“We are pleased to work with Exail to enhance the capabilities of the Czech Armed Forces,” said VTU representative. “The Advans Series INS meets our need for a highly reliable, precise system that will enable the artillery reconnaissance units of the Czech Armed Forces to operate effectively in the most demanding environments.”
