The 3rd Option of the Occar Night Vision Contract Was Signed in Bonn, Germany

THEON INTERNATIONAL PLC (THEON) announces that the new extension of the OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation) contract concerning the supply of Binocular Night Vision systems (BNVG) to the German Armed Forces was signed in Bonn, Germany, on Friday, 20th December.

The new extension of the original contract was signed by the consortium of HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH and THEON SENSORS SA with the European Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR).

The contract extension was signed on behalf of OCCAR by the Director of the Organization, Mr. Joachim Sucker, on behalf of HENSOLDT by Mr. Wolfgang E. Kaiser (Head of Site and Business Unit) and Mr. Frank Topp (Senior Bid and Program Manager Sights) and, and on behalf of THEON by Mr. Christian Hadjiminas (Founder and CEO of THEON INTERNATIONAL).

This is the exercise of the 3rd consecutive purchase right, with an additional purchase option of similar size remaining available.

The original contract for the Production and Support of binocular night vision systems (BNVG) with the international organization OCCAR was signed in July 2021. The construction of 49,550 Mikron BNVG (with 16 mm Exosens tubes) has already been contractually assigned for delivery to the German and Belgian Armed Forces.

According to the new amendment, the Consortium will continue to deliver several thousand Mikron binocular night vision systems from THEON to Germany.
