Ovzon has received an expansion on the 12-month order of 115 MSEK that the company signed with its partner Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) in September 2024. The expanded contract now also includes additional Ovzon On-The-Move mobile satellite terminals. The new total order value amounts to 132 MSEK. The new total order value of 132 MSEK will be paid in full before the end of 2024.
In December 2023 Ovzon received a larger order from its partner SSC for Ovzon SATCOM-as-a-Service, including mobile satellite terminals. The contract was thereafter, in September 2024, extended with 12 months delivery of Ovzon SATCOM-as-a-Service. The new order expansion includes On-The-Move mobile satellite terminals that are specifically designed to withstand harsh environments and enable mobile usage. The terminals will be delivered in 2024 and early 2025. Ovzon's SATCOM-solutions enables guaranteed, reliable and resilient connectivity for customers with critical missions in the most challenging environments.
“We are pleased with our continued close cooperation with SSC. This expansion reflects the strong ongoing demand for Ovzon’s unique capabilities. The fact that the total order value of 132 MSEK will be paid in full before the end of 2024 enables us to focus on growth and expansion by capturing new business opportunities on our recently operationalized satellite Ovzon 3”, says Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
