Get SAT Supports Successful Hybrid SATCOM Test at Sentry Aloha

Get SAT, an innovator in small, lightweight satellite communication terminals for airborne, ground, and maritime applications, continues to demonstrate its cutting-edge capabilities, showcased during the recent hybrid SATCOM test conducted at the Sentry Aloha exercise. The Air National Guard/Air Reserve Command Test Centre (AATC) tested a new Ku/Ka satellite communications suite on the HC-130J aircraft, marking a significant step forward in the modernization of military communication systems. This pivotal test underscores the critical role of hybrid SATCOM in enhancing airborne communication functions across various orbital networks, ensuring reliable connectivity even in the most contested environments.

Hybrid SATCOM Enhances Resilience in Combat Environments
During the exercise, we successfully demonstrated the system’s ability to provide multiband, resilient beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) communications. This system allows the HC-130J to connect with hybrid space architectures, integrating satellite services from LEO, GEO, and MEO in both Ku and Ka bands.

The newly tested system offers a multiband, resilient SATCOM capability designed to significantly enhance the aircraft’s communication functions and is engineered to resist electromagnetic warfare, providing robust and reliable communication links, a critical need for today’s military operations.
