Ovzon Receives Additional Order on Mobile Satellite Terminals from the US DoD

The U.S. Department of Defense (U.S. DOD) expands their portfolio of Ovzon mobile satellite terminals through an additional order on the company’s mobile satellite terminal the Ovzon T6. The order value amounts to 0.3 MUSD.

Ovzon has worked closely with the U.S. DOD as a SATCOM-as-a-Service provider for over a decade. This order represents an expansion of their already large portfolio of Ovzon mobile satellite terminals. Earlier this year, the U.S. DOD became the first customer to order the Ovzon T7, the first mobile satellite terminal optimized for the new Ovzon 3 satellite and its On-Board-Processor.

“We are delighted to see an expansion of Ovzon mobile satellite terminals from such an important customer. The U.S. DOD’s continued investment and trust in Ovzon SATCOM-as-a-Service validates that our focus on performance, mobility and resiliency is right for mission critical organizations,” says Ovzon’s CEO, Per Norén.
